The Parish Closes

Unique in Europe, they are today the witnesses of a religious fervour, of an artistic talent of local craftsmen from the 16th to the 18th centuries and of an exceptional splendour of the past centuries.

The parish enclosures are architectural ensembles comprising, within a stone enclosure, the church and its bell tower, the ossuary, the Calvary, the cemetery and a triumphal gate.
Sculptors, cabinetmakers, painters, goldsmiths, glassworkers and embroiderers have all created exceptional works of art that will not fail to amaze you when you visit all year round.
