Océanopolis Brest, the National Centre for Scientific Culture dedicated to the Ocean, is a unique place in Europe for sharing knowledge to understand the planet’s different marine ecosystems and better preserve them.
In 2026, Océanopolis is undergoing a complete transformation (the Tropical and Southern Hemisphere pavilions are being renovated) but remains open at a special rate and offers a revamped programme of activities based around its aquariums, events and guided tours. Come and (re)discover the Brittany pavilion, the otter trail, the new interactive and fun Cité des Océanautes for the whole family, the Océanolab research laboratory and four new themed gardens of botanical interest! Reopening for summer 2026.
Prices, opening hours and areas to visit can be found at oceanopolis.com.
