Calvaire de Roskogoz

Contemplate the beautiful location where his calvary stands, overlooking the spectacular Baie de Morlaix, l’îlot (“Islet”) Sainte Anne and the small port of Pempoul.
This recently-built calvary was sculpted in Kersantite stone by Jean-Guillaume Donnart in 1901 and represents a classic scene of the Christ on the cross, the Sacred Heart, Marie and John.
This calvary, like many other crosses and calvaries, was erected during the 1901 jubilary year. As mentioned on the socle, the calvary was donated by the parishioners.
