Maison du Filet Brodé
“La Maison du Filet Brodé” is a plunge in the heritage of the region, a lesson of cultural openess, a unique experience, an artistic and technical discovery and a moment of creation.
Museum-workshop exhibiting ancient and contemporary embroidered and knotted nets. Over 50 regional headresses and costumes from the first half of the 20th century are presented. It is the only permanent place in West of France teaching the knotted net technique!
Booking required for workshops (15€, material included). Groups welcome outside opening hours (over 8 persons), booking required.
Accessible to disabled people. Entrance fee: 1€ (free under 16 years old).
From mid-september to 30th june (closed on Christmas holidays) : open every thursday from 2pm to 5pm.
From the 1st of july to mid-september : open every tuesday, wednesday and thursday from 2pm to 6pm.
